One day, I took a look at the deviantprints website- being the net explorer I am, and became inspired...

Inspired to make my own prints that is, even if only for a little income (enough to buy presents for birthdays and holidays) - Lots of the prints are photographs, so I checked through some of my family's photo library, and found a picture of a tiger I took at the famous french 'Citadel' zoo.

I don't know his name, but he was very pretty, even if the photo was tiny and low quality (rainy day, shot at maximum zoom kinda' thing) so, I took the photo, read about prints, scaled it up about 10 or so times and got to work!

This is the result of four days sitting and working with paint shop pro 7's airbrush. I had to put a LOT of effort into this- not just into the clicking of the mouse, but into the color and the emphasis on his stripes and muscle structure.

The background was pretty simple to do, and I feel its darkness is what the picture needed.
