Or 'raijin', the thundergod

I have been waiting nearly a MONTH to work on a fanart! You won't believe it guys, I'm SO busy..! I have about 15 more full pics to do before friday, then there's *counts on fingers* 6 commissions- three that need starting and three that need completing, then I'm also off on a trip for three days to see Jaz-chan (yey) have a cosplay costume to arrange for a con- programs to beta, random odd-bits to illustrate, tensei to restart, flash to animate, fics to write.. *gets lost in her list* but I've been doing so much of the work-side of things I haven't touched the fanart...

...until now!

Sasuke, the thundergod! I think we've established this- and he -SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER-is-using-his-kirin-jutsu-SAFESAFESAFE- which I think reprisents 'Raijuu', or the thunderbeast- which is traditionaly a cat (*cough* now my tensei readers can see what I was thinking...) but Kishi most cooly went for that giraffe thing I mentioned, as he's obviously already DONE the cat thing...



I'm infinitely pleased with this- when I drew and inked it, despite taking 2 hours to get it the way I wanted, I wasn't really pleased but.. then I stopped being so stupid. I KNOW it's Sasuke, and since I dislike the guy I really should dislike it and not think it's rather sexy but... -oh, I didn't say it was sexy, nuhuh.

Airbrushing's getting easier, I can use it ontop of my quick coloring (which is super useful) and it made good for this pic.

Oh yeah, before anyone asks I mimicked Kishimoto's betrayal of the lightning thing, that's why it's stylised.

The most troublesome things were (naturaly) Sasuke's pose, and my computer's ram (which has wasted HOURS! I need more ram) Other than that it was pretty easy.

I'm just really pleased with this, I guess it's just one of those pics...
