Whoops, I think I overdid it a bit! Hehe!

This is the cover page for the first chapter of my first Naruto doujinshi, (but not my first doujinshi mind you)
I'm really proud of this pic! But, it was a pain to color. I kept stopping and staring and squeaking out 'kawaii'...

I tried out a new trick on the hair (some of you may notice) and did some unusual lighting (that of a sunrise).

For those confused, the baby is Naruto. The strangely similar blond haired guy is the Fourth Hokage, but there's absolutely no reason I put him in this pic... especially with Naruto ::tries to look innocent::

Information regarding the doujinshi:

- The title, 'Tensei' means 'reincarnation of a soul'. I'll let you ponder on that.
- All pages will be colored to an extent.
- The main characters are Team 7, (that's Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura) as well as... I can't say.
- The genres are action, adventure, comedy and drama!
- There are no real pairings or any level of insinuation beyond that of the origional Naruto manga.
- Critics report all characters are in character!

There's 20 more pages in this chapter, I'll try to post one per day. Please leave comments and suggestions, both inspire me, and the more inspired I am the more I draw!

Is it ever stated who the mom is?

Looking forward to the doujinshi! Is it going to be inked and colored or just inked?

I';m not even a fan of Naruto because I never really took the time to watch it but this is a beautiful, just gorgeous picture- Amazin, really. awesome, i might even read this doujinshi!

The colours are beautiful, and the sunrise light works well with the fact they're both blonde... for some reason. And sunrise, as another technique, perhaps the beginning of something? Great use of meaning. =]

Naruto looks adorable as a baby and the fourth hokage came out really good too!! Outta curiosity is he gonna have a name or is he going to be referred to as the "yondaime/fourth hokage"?

I really like the new hair technique; it brings out detail without overdoing it :)

I like the colouring, but it reminds me a little bit more of a sunset than a sunrise because of it's warm colours (eg. soft yellow shading). Sunrise light is typically cold. :)
