No, don't check who posted it, you didn't watch someone else by accident. I can do more than anime =P

I've written it on the picture incase you can't place the guy, if you can't place him you really should check this show out for its almost interactive storytelling techniques- The Mentalist. I don't expect many of you to know what that is since it's quite a mature show (just in tastes) The character here is the main character; his name is Patrick Jane. He's an ex-magician (a mentalist) His personality is somewhere between L and, Sousuke Aizen, Ichimaru Gin and BATMAN. Yes, that combination is possible.

His nemesis of sorts is Red John, whose signature that is. Red John is a serial killer- "... the first thing that anyone sees is the face on the wall. You see the face first and you know. You know what's happened and you feel dread. Then, and only then do you see the body of the victim. Always in that order."

I really love this show; I'd been studying magic before it came out, (since my own character uses street magic) so seeing the title, it just clicked in my mind, 'oh man, this is going to be AWESOME' - and it -was-. My family loves this show; it's the first time they've pestered me to finish a fanart. =P

ART-WISE!- I had to get ref! Buuuut I'm not a fan of copying, so we are speaking reference for this guy's appearence, nothing more (I din' copy nothin'!). Though, now, I feel like I can draw him again without too much trouble XD - I could have tried a realism style, (and failed as per usual) but given a little inspiration I ended up trotting the comic-book/graphic novel line. It'd look good as a cover, right? Jane on the front, his reflection and the serial killer; Red John's signature on the back. Ohohoho. *just wants more epic crime-fightingness* Actually it's a fun style, I think I'll do it again; but hopefuly I'll be more relaxed, I was quite excacting about it, so it took longer than my usual works. Oh yeah, it's all digital too, another oddity for me. ^_^

SO! Enjoy! Or just sit there and say, 'I've heard of it!' or 'Hey, he looks like that guy from-' like I know you will *grin* I had a lot of fun! *gets back to work*

I'm not quite sure why, but something about him, the angle of the mirror and his reflection in the mirror don't seem quite right...... Maybe.... There seems to be a corner behind the Mentalist's head, but the mirror seems to be viewed from head on, and while the direction of the face in the mirror might be right for if the mirror were on a wall that were slightly behind and tho his right, the angle of the face looks wrong because the mirror would reflect more of the back of his head if it were behind him, as it appears... Or something like that...

Other than that, everything looks nice. I really like the pattern on the wallpaper and the comic book-esque feel
